中国现代化的社会转型,是在探索和选择社会主义发展模式的前提下,在社会主客体的生成关系上实现两个相互关联的"社会双重转型",协同共进地处理好生产力形态、人的生存形态和生产关系与基本社会制度形态三个方面的"双重转型"关系,而这三者正构成社会主义物质文明、精神文明和制度文明建设的有机组成部分。

The social transformation of the Chinese modernization means to realize 'double social transformation' in the relation of social subject and object, and harmoniously cope with 'double transformation' in the aspects of productive form, existential form of human being, and the form of productive relation and fundamental social system. However, all of these must be conducted under the premise of exploring and choosing a socialist mode of development. These three facets serve as the inherent constituents to the construction of material, spiritual, and institutional civilization of socialism.
