Li Da-zhao's thought of history education was the product of the Chinese democratic revolution and the educational reform. He had illustrated in theory the content, nature, guiding thought, target, and method of the history education on the principle of his material concept of history. His thought of history education laid down a solid basis for the theory and practice of Marxist history education. Nonetheless, it is now significantly valuable to the study of the Chinese Communist Party's theory of history education and the promotion of the reform of history education in the new century.
