2008年奥运会将在古城北京举行,"人文奥运"是这次奥运会的三大主题之一,天坛作为北京标志性建筑物,有着深厚的历史文化内涵,研究、保护、利用天坛文化内涵,展现北京人文奥运的独特魅力,天坛承担着重要作用。从天坛文化内涵概要、游客对天坛文化需求及理解、天坛面临的任务及努力方向等几方面阐释利用天坛文化资源展现北京人文奥运内涵,将对推动天坛文化研究,将自己民族独具特色的文化展示给世界作出贡献。

2008 Olympic Games will be held in the ancient city Beijing. 'Humanistic Olympic' is one of the three main subjects of the games. The Temple of Heaven, which is a symbol building in Beijing, has the deep history and culture meaning, can act as an important role to research, protect and utilize its culture meaning, and to exhibit the unique charm of Humanistic Olympics in Beijing. The Temple of Heaven will use this opportunity to promote the research of its culture and to show the Chinese Nation's culture to the world.
