Experimental economics is a new branch of economics. Experimental economists have researched individual decision, market activities, game theory, learning theory and methodology. The rise of this new branch has influenced the study of public goods theory, the core theory of public finance theory, and it has deepened the research of free riding problem and inspired some good suggestions for efficient provision of public goods.
