This paper deals with the influence of water immersion on the hydrophobicity loss, relative weight, tan δ and ε r. In order to accelerate the aging process, all the samples were immersed in distilled water at 50℃. After long time of water immersion, it is shown that the hydrophobicity is lost gradually and tan δ and ε r are changed abruptly. It shows that insulation property is lost.
