摘要
死核常出现在化学工程和燃烧等的反应扩散问题中,当吸附率与反应物浓度的分数次幂成正比时,介质中某处参加反应的物质密度可能为零(此处称为死核)。本文重点是给出一类反应扩散问题的死核的测度估计,同时讨论一个系统中放热系数对死核存在性的影响。
Dead cores for reaction-diffusion problems with convection rise in chemical engineering and combustion. When the rate of absorption is proportional to a fractional power of the concentration, it is possible for concentration to vanish in a part of the medium known as the dead core. Estimates are obtained for the dead core, and the dependence of the dead core on the exothermicity k and on Thiele's modulus λ is investigated.
