摘要
汉语和英语分属两种不同的语系,虽然有其作为人类交际工具的共性,但由于各自独特的地理环境、历史进程、文化传统等因素而具有显著的差异。这些差异往往构成我国学习者学习英语的障碍。为此从语言形式和语言表达的角度,对汉语和英语的字词、句子表达、语篇表达等层面进行了剖析,力图多方位地揭示出两种语言的差异。
Chinese and English are quite different languages, though not without features in common. An analysis of the differences helps facilitate the learning of English in China as a foreign language. This paper deals with some of the differences between Chinese and English in terms of words, sentence structures, and discourse patterns.
