Discussing Xuji's Viewpoint about Literature

文章主要论述了北宋道学家、诗人徐积的文学观念。他虽然认为道重文轻 ,但并没有完全抹煞文学的作用和价值。相反 ,还提出了不少有新意、有价值的文学理论与批评观。徐积在北宋的文坛上有一定的影响。更为重要的是 ,他在处理道学与文学的关系、追求雄奇壮观的诗歌风格上 ,有着很强的代表性。

The article mainly talks about the v iewpoint about literature of Xuji,a moralist and a poet in Beisong.He paid more attention to moral than literature, but it didn't mean he neglected the value and function of the litera ture.On the contrary,he pointed out some new and valuable literary theories and cr iticism.His poems had strong influence on the literature in his time.Furthermore ,his poets had some representative meaning on dealing with the relationship betw een moral and literature,and chasing after the magnificent literary styles.
