中共十一届三中全会后 ,邓小平同志主持中央工作 ,明确地把民族工作的中心任务是发展经济写入党的文件 ,坚持改革开放 ,振兴中华民族 ,并采取切实措施 ,帮助少数民族地区加速发展经济 ,使中华民族在世界的地位大大提高 ,少数民族也摆脱了贫困。

Economic development hase been treated as central task of national work , since Deng Xiaoping became the core of leadership of the CPC after the Third Plenary Session of the Eleventh Central Committee.The international standing of Chinese nation has been raised greatly,and the minority nationalities have been lifted out of poverty by reforming ,opening to the word and promoting the economic prosperity in minority nationalities areas.
