孙犁是文学新地的发现者、抒写者、开拓者。他发现了久被淹埋的冀西山地和华北平原的独特美 ,作家要有自己的生产基地 。
Sun Li is an explorer, a pioneer and an expresser of the new territory of literature. He finds the unique beauty of long-buried Jixi mountain area and Huabei Plain. A writer must have his or her own creative base, and resolve to dig deep 'wells' and fetch clean and fragrant'water'.
