中西文化差异对语言表达的影响

The influences made by the differences between Chinese culture and western culture on linguistic expression

有关英语语言中的文化问题,近几年来引起了社会的广泛关注。就目前英语教学而言,教师与学生把精力都倾注在语言形式上,而忽视了语言文化的部分。借助三种隐喻说明了语言和文化的关系,在此基础上归纳几点中西文化差异对语言表达的影响,并提出加强学生英语语言文化综合素质的几点思考。最后笔者得出结论:在英语语言课上有必要适度地导入文化教育。

The cultural education concerning foreign language teaching has elicited a full appeal from the public.Since the present foreign language teaching pays little attention to its related cultural aspect,this paper,by means of 3 metaphors,gives an account of the relationship between language and culture,then puts forward some influences on which cultural distinction have on language expressions.Lastly,the paper advocates that cultural education should be properly applied to foreign language teaching.
