门西地区是南京保存至今面积最大的一块传统居住区,有众多的文物景点和历史遗存,作者对它的社会结构与 存在问题进行分析,并提出门西地区保护与发展的总体思路。

Men Xi is the largest living area in Nanjing, which has traditional residential houses, many cultural heritages and historical ruins. Author analyses it' s social construction and problems, at the same time provides brief concept of conservation and development.
