碳离子辐照碳纳米管形成无定形纳米线

Amorphous Nanowires Produced by Carbon Ion Irradiation on Multi-walled Carbon Nanotubes

摘要 利用 40keV的C+离子辐照 (辐照剂量为 1× 10 16 /cm2 )CVD合成的多壁碳纳米管样品 ,在高分辨透射电子显微镜(HRTEM)分析时发现了一些有趣现象 :其一 ,多壁碳纳米管在辐照时 ,其结构不但无定形化 ,而且有无定形纳米线和无定形管的相互转变区出现 ;其二 ,辐照可以使交叉的碳纳米线产生“焊接”现象 . After being irradiated by carbon ions with the energy of 40 keV at the fluence of 10(16)/cm(-2), many of multi-waned carbon nanotubes evolved into amorphous carbon nanowires and amorphous nanotubes. In some irradiated nanotubes, it can be found that transition areas of amorphous nanotubes and amorphous nanowires coexist. Moreover, during this evolving process, some. crossed nanotubes were welded together, and these welded junctions may hake great applications in nanotube/molecular electronics. Meanwhile, the mechanism on the appearance of this phenomenon was also discussed qualitatively.
