Multi-Soliton Interaction and Control in The Fiber Presenting Randomly Varying Birefringence

摘要 利用分步傅里叶方法 ,对随机双折射光纤孤子传输进行了数值模拟 ,研究了多孤子间相互作用 ;分析了随机双折射现象对孤子传输的扰动机制、稳定性以及辐射能量特性 .结果表明 :随机双折射引起孤子传输不稳定 ,增强了孤子间相互作用 ,导致孤子能量辐射并随传输距离增大 .引进非线性增益增强滤波器的控制作用可以有效地抑制随机双折射的对孤子相互作用的影响 . Split-step Fourier Algorithm is used to simulate properties of soliton propagation in the fibers presenting randomly varying birefringence. In the fibers with randomly varying birefringence, the interactions of multi-soliton are investigated. It is found that randomly varying birefringence leads to the soliton propagation instability, enhances the interaction, and increase the radiation energy. A nonlinear gain combining with filters can be used to effectively suppress the influence and the interactions.
