Market economy is competitive economy, the nature of competition is overall competency. The competency and the cooperation of Jiaxing`s merge into Shanghai big economic circle are closely related with the overall competency. The article makes an analysis and comparison of the rank of Jiaxing in the fifteen cities included in Shanghai big economic circle, which lays a foundation for further analyzing Jiaxing`s ten advantages and six problems. Therefore, the overall competency of Jiaxing is generally sketched out.
