摘要 Chitosguanidine sulfate was synthesized by reaction of chitosan with aminoiminomethanesufonic acid. The compound has been characterized by IR spectra. It is soluble in water and react with picric acid to form an yellow sediment. Its specific viscosity in aqueous solution is reduced on heating. The chitosguanidine has good hygroscopicity and moisture retention close to hyaluronic acid. Chitosguanidine sulfate was synthesized by reaction of chitosan with aminoiminomethanesufonic acid.
