当前,重返GATT的利弊问题是一个热门话题。笔者认为加入GATT是我国进一步改革开放的必由之路,可以使我们享受到10个方面的利益或好处。至于应尽的义务和可能出现的部分企业破产,不能简单地看成是“弊”。部分企业破产或转产将使资源得到更合理的利用,将使产业结构得到进一步优化。国内企业的积极态度是因应形势,寻找机遇,迎接挑战。

The topic of the pros and cons of the return to GATT is very popular. The auther holds that the returu to GATT is the only way to open to the outside world which will benefit us in ten ways. The duties we should perform and the possible bankrupt of some enterprises should not simply be considered as cons. The bankrupt and the changing of products of some enterprises will make the resource better utilized and the industrial structure further improved. The national enterprises should take an active part to adapt to the situation, look for chances and meet the challenge.
