The Dendrothripini comprise a group of small and leaf-feeding thrips. This present paper deals with nine species of the Tribe included three genera Asprothrips, Dendrothrips and Pseudodendrothrips, collected from China. Among them, two species are recorded as new to China, Asprothrips fuscipennis Kudo; Pseudodendrothrips bhatti Kudo, two species are described as new to science. The distributions and hosts are given and a synoptic key to the known species is provided. Type specimens of the new species and other collections are deposited in the South China Agricultural University.Dendrothrips homalii, sp. nov. (figs 1-7)Female: Length 0.82- 0.90mm, body dark brown.
