This paper introduces that the basic productive construction has been improved by means of increasing scientific and technological input for the Jiangxi salt industry with the efforts made for many years, especially in the period of the Tenth Five-Yeai Plan. Taking salt as the main sector while developing diversified businesses has promoted the development of the salt industry and achieved great results.
