A discussion is made of the relationship between enterprise standardization and quality management system and the role and significance of standardization for the establishment and operation of quality management system.It is argued that standardization is an important basis for the establishment and operation of quality management system as it provides a precondition for rapid popularization and application of quality management system.It is pointed out that standardization is the key to the establishment and operation of quality management system and that only after standardization is carried out in enterprises,can the operation of the established quality management system produce a marked effect.
