由于农业在国民经济中的重要基础作用,农业竞争力无疑将对一国竞争力的强弱产生最为重要的影响。为此,客观认识江苏农业竞争力现状、面临的挑战和存在的问题,选择最为合理有效的方法和途径,促进江苏农村经济在经济全球化进程中持续发展,已经成为迫切而又有现实意义的课题,本文拟就此进行相关的分析和探讨。

Because of the fundamental role played by agriculture in a national economy, agricultural competitive ability will have significant influence on a nation's competitive ability undoubtfully. Therefore, objectively recognizing the current situation, challenges and existing problems of Jiangsu province, choosing the most effective and reasonable methods and ways, promoting the sustainable development of Jiangsu's rural economy in the course of economic globalization, are subjects of urgent and realistic significance.
