Strategies to Improve Oral Ability in College English Teaching

随着经济全球化、区域经济一体化进程的加快,英语日益举足轻重。人与人的沟通交流离不开语言,大学生能否说一口流利的英语,直接关系着学生未来的跨文化交际能力。所以,对于高校英语教学来说,学生口语能力的培养是重中之重。本文以英语口语能力的重要性为切入点,对大学英语口语课堂教学的现状进行了深入分析,并提出了高校英语教学中口语能力提高的策略。

With the speed of economic globalization, the integration process, English is increasingly important. Interper-sonal communication can't make without language, if students can speak fluent English directly related to the students' future international exchanges. So, for college English teaching, the students speaking ability is the most important, is the goal and direction of English courses. In this paper, the importance of English as the starting point to the ability of the cur-rent situation of college spoken English teaching in-depth analysis, and proposed college English teaching strategies to improve speaking ability.
