摘要
本文运用美国教育界广泛应用的教育理论并结合中国文化理论,对进行大学英语课堂讨论所出现的主要障碍进行了深入的分析,如分析了讨论小组成员的心理特征及结构特点,并针对每种障碍的形成原因和性质提出了相应的解决方案。大学英语教学改革的目标之一就是建立起"以学习者为中心"的英语课堂教学模式,而开展课堂讨论是实现这种模式的重要教学方法。目前对于如何进行英语课堂讨论的研究在大学英语教学研究领域还很少见,其研究意义亦不应忽视。
As the college-English-teaching reform carries out, there are a series of obstacle in discussion-featured teaching of college English. It's of great significance to study these difficulties and to offer the solutions as discussion-featured teach-ing becomes an important method of learner-centered teaching. In this essay, the author tries to find the solutions to these problems by applying some latest theories.
