高职英语社团在英语学习中的作用研究

A Study on the Role of Higher Vocational English Association in English Learning

随着对英语教学的探索和实践,我国高职院校的英语教学已取得了很大进展。但是作为一门公共基础课,学校对于英语课时安排相对较少,加之高职院校学生英语基础薄弱,学习动机不强,自主学习能力较差等学习现状,在时间和空间上相对有限的课堂教学不能保证每一位学生的英语能力得到全方位的提高。因此,引导学生自主学习,激发学生的学习动机,显得尤为重要。英语社团作为校园内最为直接的课堂以外的英语学习载体,是对课堂教学的有益补充。本文通过对我院英语社团的学生一系列访谈与问卷调查,以及对于调查结果的研究分析,证明了英语社团活动是学生英语学习内化的需要,在一定程度上能够帮助培养学生英语自主学习能力并增强其学习动机。

With the exploration and practice of English teaching,great progress has been made in English Teaching in Higher Vocational colleges.But as a public basic course for the English class,the school arrangement is relatively small,and the higher vocational college students' English foundation is weak,learning motivation is not strong,independent learning ability and poor learning situation,time and space in a relatively limited classroom teaching cannot guarantee every student's English ability get all-round improvement.Therefore,it is very important to guide students to study independently and stimulate their learning motivation.As the most direct classroom English learning carrier outside the classroom,English Association is a useful supplement to classroom teaching.This article through to the English club our students a series of interviews and questionnaires,and research for the analysis of survey results,proved that the English club activities are students English learning internalization need,can help to cultivate students' ability of English autonomous learning and enhance their learning motivation in a certain extent.
