通识教育视野下的大学英语教学改革

The Reform of College English Teaching from the Perspective of General Education

现代大学英语教学下非常普遍的一种现象是学生没有融会贯通的精神,对于基础学科的理解只停留在初高中水平,甚至一些基础学科已经在学生的记忆中淡化。这对于大学生来说是非常可悲的,因为大学生在走入社会后面对的人、事、物不可能局限在自己的专业,需要学生通过自主学习,融会贯通地应用各学科知识,尤其是英语作为一门世界语言,如果没有独立自主探索精神,学生很难将一门语言应用得得心应手。因此大学英语教育改革应从通识教育的角度出发,培养学生运用多种学科知识的精神与能力,为学生日后的发展做好准备。

A very common phenomenon in Modern College English teaching is that the students do not have mastery of the spirit, for the understanding of basic subjects only stay in the high school level, and even some basic subjects in their memories have faded. It is very sad for college students, because college students face in society of people and things can not be limited in their professional needs of students, through autonomous learning, mastery of application of knowledge of various disciplines, especially English as a world language, if there is no independent spirit of exploration, it is difficult for students to a language application handy. Therefore, from the College English education reform general education perspective, students use a variety of disciplines the spirit of knowledge and ability, to prepare for the future development of the students.
