On the Application of Cooperative Learning Mode to Improving the Oral Fossilization of Independent College Students

独立学院学生的口语僵化已成为普遍现象。除了语言基础知识的影响以外,语言心理机制和情感因素是造成口语僵化的主要原因。文章以独立学院学生英语口语中存在的僵化问题为切入点,探讨了合作学习模式在英语口语教学中的应用,并且指出了合作学习模式的几点优势。实证研究证明了合作学习模式对改变独立学院学生英语口语僵化具有明显的作用。

It has been a common phenomenon of the oral fossilization of independent college students. In addition to the lan-guage factor, the psychological mechanism and emotional factor are the main reasons for the oral fossilization. The paper starts with the oral fossilization problem of independent college students, and goes further to discuss the application of coop-erative learning mode to oral English teaching, and ends with the advantages of cooperative learning mode. With empirical study, the paper proves the distinct effect of cooperative learning mode on improving the oral fossilization of independent college students.
