Analysis of Factors Affecting the Employment of College Students

本论文主要研究多变量就业影响因素,利用R软件对各项指标因素进行多元回归分析,并对回归系数及回归模型做显著性检验,通过模拟回归方程来分析影响大学生就业的因素指标。最后得出结论:影响大学生就业的主要因素为:专业前景、学历、薪金待遇、就业地点、英语、政治面貌。其中专业前景,是模型中所占权重最大的因素,因此可以说专业前景好坏对大学生就业影响重大。

This thesis is to study the multivariate factors that impact the rate of employment of college students, which will be realized by creating a linear regression model. R software is used here to have a multiple regression analysis on the possible factors and then conduct a significance test on the regression coefficient and the regression model. Factors that impact the rate of graduate's employment is analyzed by simulating the regression equation. We can come to the conclusion that the key factors influence graduates' employment are the following: professional prospects, education background, salary, job site,English, politics status. Among them, Professional prospects have the biggest proportion in the model. So we can conclude that good professional prospects help a lot in graduates' employment.
