浅探大学英语教学中引入《圣经》文化

On Introducing the Culture of the "Bible" into College English Teaching

《圣经》是西方文明的源头,其对西方文化的影响涉及到各个领域。学习英语的人如果对《圣经》文化一无所知,就很可能对西方文化一知半解,陷入盲人摸象的境地。现在的大学英语教材中,很多成语、典故、文化现象都出自《圣经》,为了更好地了解西方文化,学好英语,笔者认为在大学英语教学中引入《圣经》文化是很有必要的。

The"Bible"is the source of Western civilization, and its impact on Western culture involves all fields. Learning English without knowledge of the culture of the"Bible", it is likely to have a smattering of knowledge of western culture, in the blind men and the elephant situation. Now in College English textbooks, many idioms, allusions, cultural phenomenon from in the"Bible", in order to have a better understanding of western culture, learn English better, I believe that the introduction of"Biblical"culture in College English teaching is very necessary.
