传统孝德教育在古代儒家教育中占据基础性地位,作为传统文化的重要组成部分,它具有双重价值,一方面,塑造了中华儿女的人格特质,赋予了中国人敦厚善良的性格,维护了家庭和社会的稳定。另一方面,它也有需要摒弃的不合理内核,如极端的愚孝和迷信,父母与子女义务的不对等,禁锢了人们的思想和自由。文章对孝德教育的主要内容进行了研究,以儒家经典著作《孝经》为基础,将古代孝德教育的主要内容分为三大块;始于事亲,中于事君,终于立身。传统儒家孝德教育立足孝的伦理价值和政治价值,在家庭、学校和社会教化中,教孝、劝孝、倡孝。
