在近代中国,救亡和启蒙一直是两个突出的课题。救亡与启蒙并非相互对立,而是相辅相成,相互促进。救亡唤起了启蒙,救亡深化了启蒙;启蒙的目的是救亡,启蒙也会促进救亡。

In modern China, salvation and Enlightenment has been a prominent issue in two. Salvation and enlightenment are not contradictory, but complementary, mutual promotion. Salvation evokes the enlightenment, salvation deepened the enlightenment; enlightenment to salvation, enlightenment will promote national salvation.
