The development economics is a vital course that undergraduate students should master, because it can underlay their basis of economic theory and foster their capacity of analyzing problem of economic reality. The article expounds necessity of teaching optimization of development economics, then puts forward some countermeasures including reasonably arranging the content of development economics, effectively organizing teaching process in classroom, illustrating the seasons of course study, conducting research study and implementing comprehensive course examination, and it aims at enhancing interests and performance of students learning.
