The Predicament of the Modernization Transformation in Contemporary China——Notes on "My brother in Liangshan:Drugs,AIDS and Mobile Youth"

中国的现代文明秩序还远远没有完全建立,今天仍处于一个社会大转型的过程中。在刘绍华的新著《我的凉山兄弟:毒品、艾滋与流动青年》里,作者聚焦于四川凉山彝族自治州诺苏人在面对国家主导的现代化政经变迁时,对此认知、思索、接受与挑战的过程,从中折射出当代中国现代化转型的现实困境。

China's modern civilized order is far from being fully established,and today it is still in the process of a great social transformation.In Liu Shaohua's book 'my brothers in Liangshan:drugs,AIDS and flow of youth',the author focused on the Sichuan Yi Autonomous Prefecture of Liangshan Yi people in the face of modern political and economic transition state dominated,the cognition,thinking,process and accept the challenge,which reflects China modernization dilemma when generation transformation.
