基于“自主”的高职英语教师专业发展途径

Approaches to the Professional Development of English Teachers in Higher Vocational Colleges Based on "Autonomy"

教师的专业发展对学生的成长、国家教育事业的发展起着至关重要的作用。然而,高职英语教师的专业思想、知识、能力现状普遍不理想,无法满足高职教育的发展需要,"自主发展"是其必然选择。高职英语教师首先要建立自我专业认同,形成自主专业发展意识,其次要立足教学实践,终身学习、不断反思、积极科研,还要加强与同事之间的合作与学习,不断提高自己的教学能力与科研能力,逐步实现自己的专业发展。

Teachers' professional development plays an important role in the growth of students and the development of national education. However, the current situation of professional thinking, knowledge and ability of English teachers in higher vocational colleges is generally unsatisfactory, which can not meet the development needs of higher vocational education, and "autonomous development" is their inevitable choice. English teachers in higher vocational colleges should correctly establish self professional identity firstly and have consciousness of autonomous development, then they should constantly improve their teaching ability and scientific research ability to achieve their own professional development gradually through lifelong learning, constant reflection, teaching research as well as cooperation and mutual learning with colleagues.
