衡阳市东洲岛景区英文标识语完整性探究

An Inquiry into the Integrity of English Signs in Dongzhou Island Scenic Spot of Hengyang City

通过对衡阳市东洲岛景区进行实地调研,课题组发现景区上的英文标识语比较完备,现已有中、英、日、韩四语种标识语,各个景点都有所涉及。但仿古跨江人行廊桥到湘江东岸上桥地段和轮渡上及湘江西岸轮渡附近地段未见任何英文标识语及景区简介。课题组认为应该在此两个区域增设英文标识语,以促成该景区英文标识语的完整性,能让外国游客知晓如何上景区游玩及在未上岛之前对岛上的景点有初步的了解。

By doing field survey to Dongzhou Island Scenic Spot of Hengyang city,the research group found that the English signs on the scenic spot are relatively complete,there are now four language signs in Chinese,English,Japanese and Korean,each scenic spot has been involved.However,there are no any English signs and brief introduction of the scenic spot in the area from the Archaized Pedestrian Bridge across the River to the east bank of Xiangjiang River and the area near the ferry and the west bank of Xiangjiang River.The research group believes that English signs should be added in these two areas to promote the integrity of the English signs in the scenic spot,so that foreign tourists can know how to visit the scenic spot and have a preliminary understanding of the scenic spots on the island before going to the island.
