Use Local Conditions to Apply Their Knowledge——Opinions on College English Teaching Reform

中国的英语教学具有久远的历史,然而大学英语教学却没有明显的特色。目前我国所研究的英语教学法基本上是引自印欧语系国家,而英语教学在中国不是相同、相近语系之间的外语教学,也不是移民条件下的第二语言教学。在新形势下,大学英语教学应根据不同的院校,因地制宜,倡导创新,学以致用。

English teaching in China has a long history, but college English teaching has no obvious characteristics. At present, China is basically the study of English teaching method is a quote from the Indo-European countries, but not the same English teaching in China, foreign language teaching between similar languages, nor the second language teaching under immigration conditions. Under the new situation, college English teaching should be based on the different institutions, local conditions, promote innovation, and apply their knowledge.
