大学英语四级考试新题型中,听力部分的分值都有大幅度的升高,口语考试的重视度也逐渐上升,因而英语教师在课堂教学中也要调整课堂安排,关注英语语音教学的开展。英语语调是言语交际的一个重要组成部分。本文从语用学角度提出了提高学生英语语音能力的方法,以及英语语调在日常话语交际中所起到的作用。

In the announcement of new topics of CET4, the proportion and score of Listening part has sharply been rising. And the focus on oral test also is on the rise. So college English teachers should arrange their class to concern about the teaching of English intonation. This article will find a way to improve students' English intonation from the aspect of pragmatics and analyzes its function in daily talk.
