摘要
本研究以Halliday和Hasan的语篇衔接理论为理论框架,以英语专业二年级和四年级学生为研究对象,对其议论作文中衔接手段的共性和差异进行了对比分析,并考察了衔接的使用与作文水平间的相关性。统计结果与分析表明:(1)总体来说,衔接手段的使用与高低年级学生作文水平均呈显著相关性;(2)英语专业高低年级学生在各种衔接手段的运用方面都存在一定差异,部分衔接手段呈现出显著差异;(3)两个年级学生都存在一个普遍问题,即在作文中或多或少地使用了一些具有口语话特征的衔接手段。上述研究结果对英语写作教学具有一定的启示。
In this study, Halliday and Hasan of the discourse cohesion theory as the theoretical framework, to the second grade English majors and the fourth grade students as the research object, the similarities and differences of the cohesive devices in the compositions of discussion are analyzed, and the effects of the correlation with the level of convergence between. Statistics and analysis results show that:(1) overall, the use of cohesive devices and the high and low grade students writing level were significantly correlated;(2) the use of English Majors of cohesion in all kinds of different parts, cohesion shows significant differences;(3) the students of grade two are a common problem, namely in the composition of more or less use of some features of cohesion with spoken words. The results of the study have some implications for the teaching of English writing.
