在当前经济全球化的今天,大学英语已经成为了大学生必修的一门课程。同时,经济全球化的今天更是对当前大学英语教育水平及方式提出的一个更加有力的挑战。ESP是当前较新的教学理念,如果我们能够有效将ESP教学理念应用在大学英语教学改革中,那么对于大学英语的发展是十分有利的。本文主要阐述了大学英语课程存在的问题,阐述了ESP教学理念,并对ESP在大学英语教学改革中的应用进行了一定的研究,旨在为进一步提高我国大学英语教学水平而提出一些有价值的参考意见。

In the current economic globalization, College English has become a compulsory course for college students. At the same time, the economic globalization is a more powerful challenge to the current college English education. ESP is a new teaching concept, if we can effectively apply the ESP teaching philosophy in College English teaching reform, it is very beneficial to the development of College English. This paper mainly expounds the existing problems of College English curriculum, expounds the teaching idea of ESP, and the application of ESP in the reform of College English teaching was studied, so as to further improve the level of English Teaching in our university and puts forward some valuable advice.
