翻转课堂在应用型本科高校大学英语教学中的应用与反思

The Application and Reflection on Flipped Classroom to the College English Teaching in Regional Four-Year Applied Universities

本研究围绕翻转课堂的起源及定义分析,从当前大学英语教学现状入手,首先阐述了翻转课堂指导大学英语教学的可行性及其优势,然后提出了相关的对策及建议。最后给出了课堂实践案例以期为地方本科高校实施大学英语翻转课堂实践提供借鉴。研究表明,基于翻转课堂的大学英语教学只有发挥教师与学生双主体的作用,才能实现教与学的互相促进,取得师生的共同发展。

The paper explores the origin and definition of flipped classroom. It first elaborates the feasibility and advantages of employing flipped classroom to college English teaching from the perspective of the status quo of English learning in China,then constructive proposals and suggestions are put forward. Finally, a case study is demonstrated and provided for the future classroom practice of flipped classroom. The result shows that mutual promotion and mutual development between the teacher and students could be achieved on the condition that the double role of the teacher and students should be played in the flipped classroom approach to college English teaching.
