Quality of Higher Education: Realistic Problems and Upgrading Path

《国家中长期教育改革和发展规划纲要(2010-2020年)》提出现阶段我国高等教育发展的核心任务是要全面提高高等教育的质量,这既是建立人力资源强国的重大战略基础,也是实现高等教育科学发展的必然要求。我国高等教育在迅速的发展的过程中取得了显著地成就,但同时出现了诸多问题。制定高等教育质量标准并实施的前提,是要通过对现实问题的进行剖析,明确其问题所在,找出当下对高等教育质量有效地提升路径,从而更好地促进其发展。

The Outline of National Medium and Long-term Education Reform and Development Program(2010-2020)puts forward that the core task of higher education development in China is to improve the quality of higher education in an allround way,which is not only the important strategic basis for building a powerful country with human resources,but also the inevitable requirement of realizing the scientific development of higher education.China’s higher education has made remarkable achievements in the process of rapid development,but at the same time there are many problems.The premise of formulating and implementing the quality standards of higher education is to analyze the practical problems and find out the effective ways to improve the quality of higher education so as to promote its development.
