摘要
中药专利文本的翻译质量直接关系到国际专利合作公约(PCT)申请的顺利进行以及专利被授权以后权利的维护。本文对20个PCT中药专利申请文本进行案例分析,从中药专利英语文本的词汇和句式两个层面入手,探究其翻译技巧和策略。
The translation quality of Chinese drug patent texts is directly related to the smooth progress of the applications of international Patent Cooperation Treaty,as well as to the maintenance of the authorized patent rights. 20 PCT international patent application texts in Chinese medicine inspection are looked up through case analysis method. This paper then explores the necessary skills and strategies for translation of Chinese drug patent texts from lexical and syntactical perspectives.
