From Passive Embeddedness to Independently Constructed Global Production Networks——from the experience of the computer industry upgrading in Taiwan

台湾计算机产业升级经历了从被动嵌入全球生产网络,到自主构建次级全球生产网络的发展阶段。对这一转化过程的研究为我国制造企业和产业升级提供了经验借鉴:从被动嵌入全球生产网络到自主构建全球生产网络是产业升级的发展过程;知识的获取与吸收是决定企业最终知识存量不可或缺的两个方面;生产网络具有社会性和稳定性;产业升级需要政府适时的政策支持。

The computer industry in Taiwan experiences the development stage from being passively embedded to globalproduction network to self-construction of secondary development stage of global production networks. The study on theprocess provides reference for the industry upgrading of China's manufacturing enterprises. The process is a developmentprocess of industrial upgrading. Knowledge acquisition and absorption are two aspects of the indispensable ultimate knowl-edge. Sociality and stability characterizes production network. Industrial upgrading calls for timely policy support from gov-ernment.
