生态文明是中国特色社会主义事业总体布局中的重要环节。建设生态文明要认真区分作为价值理性的生态文明和作为工具理性的生态文明,坚持弱人类中心主义的观点,统筹生产生态和消费生态,实现经济生态化和生态经济化,依靠科技但要破除对科技的迷信,在吸收中国传统文化生态智慧和西方生态学马克思主义有益成果的基础上,走出一条适合中国国情的生产发展、生活富裕、生态良好的中国特色社会主义生态文明发展之路。

Ecological civilization is an important part of the overall- layout of the cause of socialism with Chinese characteristics. We should distinguish the value rationality and the instrumental rationality while we construct the ecological civilization in China. We should stick to the point of the Weak- Anthropocentrism and the production of ecological and the consumer ecological must be given overall consideration. On the other hand,we ought to realize the economic ecology and ecological economy,relying on science and technology,but should get rid of the superstition of science and technology. Based on the absorption of Chinese traditional ecological wisdom and the beneficial results of the western ecological theory of Marx,we are required to take a development road of ecological civilization with Chinese characteristics which has development of production,an affluent life and be ecological good.
