关于图书加工外包的再思考

Reconsideration on the Outsourcing of Book Processing

为充分发挥图书资料的效用,短时间内让读者了解学科前沿知识的目标,越来越多的图书馆采用了图书加工外包的模式,这意味着图书馆被推向市场。面对良莠不齐的外包商,图书馆也是一筹莫展,唯有在屡次实践中寻找适合本馆的外包商。多年以来图书加工过程中产生的问题促使业界很多同行探索更好的解决措施。这篇论文尝试从图书馆与外包商建立长久良好协作关系,联手成立一个机构的角度论述如何把图书加工过程出现的问题彻底解决。

In order to give full play to the effectiveness of books and materials and make readers understand the frontiers of knowledge in a short period of time,more and more libraries have adopted the mode of book processing outsourcing,which means that libraries are being pushed to the market.Faced with the good and bad outsourcing vendors,the library is helpless,only through repeated practice,can outsourcing businessmen suitable to the library be found.For many years,problems arising from the book processing have prompted many of the industry's peers to explore better solutions.This paper attempts to establish a long-term and good cooperative relationship between libraries and outsourcing firms,and from the perspective of setting up an institution,discusses how to solve the problems thoroughly in the book processing.
