走出教育“起跑线”的误区

近些年来,"不要让孩子输在起跑线上"成了无数早教机构、学校的宣传口号,让无数家长带领孩子在早期教育乃至基础教育的竞赛中狂奔。从胎教开始,一路带着孩子转战在英语、乐器、书法等等的学习比赛中,争抢最好的幼儿园、小学、中学名额,生怕落在别的孩子身后。"起跑线"是当今教育界存在的一大误区,教育不是短跑,而是马拉松式的长跑,片面最求所谓的"起跑线",极大地损伤了孩子追求自由发展的天性,反而不利于孩子以后的成长。

Recently, the slogan of 'Don't let your children lose in the starting line' is popular in the early education institutions and elementary schools. Parents compete with others in the early education and the elementary education for their children. Begin with the antenatal training, parents ask their children to study English, music instrument, writing and so on, to battle for the admission of the best kindergarten, primary school, and middle school so as not to fall behind other ones. 'Starting line' is a big misunderstanding in educational circles, as education is not a short-distance running but a marathon. Excessive pursuit of winning in the 'starting line' is bad for children's nature of free development and their future maturity.
