独立学院工科专业毕业设计现状及改革研究——以河海大学文天学院港航专业为例

Research on the Current Situation and Reform of Graduation Project for Engineering Majors in Independent Colleges: Taking the Harbor Waterway and Coastal Engineering Major of Wentian College of Hohai University as an Example

独立学院是民办高等教育的重要组成部分,其毕业设计的教学工作既具有母体学校专业支持的优势,也拥有民办高校所存在的种种问题。以河海大学文天学院港口航道与海岸工程专业为例,通过收集、整理、统计近5届毕业生的毕业设计相关资料及数据,分析独立学院工科专业毕业设计教学过程中存在的共性问题,提出了适用于独立学院实际情况的改革建议:引导学生合理安排时间完成毕业设计;鼓励自有教师多渠道获取毕业设计课题;加强毕业设计教学管理,完善毕业设计考核机制,以提高学生毕业设计的完成质量。

Independent college is an important part of private higher education,its teaching of graduation project not only has the advantage of professional support from its mother school,but also has various common problems existing in private colleges and universities.The article takes the harbor waterway and coastal engineering major of Wentian College of Hohai University as an example,and collects,arranges,counts the relevant data of graduation project of nearly five years.It analyses the common problems existing in the teaching process of graduation project of engineering majors in independent college,and puts forward some suitable reform suggestions for the actual situation of independent college:guide students to arrange their time reasonably to finish graduation project;encourage self-owned teachers to obtain graduate projects through multiple channels;strengthen teaching management of graduation project and perfect the evaluation mechanism in order to improve the quality of students’graduation project.
