摘要
本文根据翻译的基本原则及旅游翻译的目的,在肯定“归化”与“异化”作用的同时,着重谈论旅游翻译中“归化”策略的实用意义,并举例说明增词与注释(Amplification&Annotation)、类比(Analogy)、删减与调整(Reduetion&Adjustment)、解释(Explanation)等“归化”方法。
This paper, based on some theories and purposes of translation, discusses the notions of 'domestication ' and 'foreignization' in terms of the problems relating to tourist translation. The author makes it clear that domestication should be preferred ,and provides many examples for the four important domestication strategies: (1) amplification & annotation; (2) analogy; (3) reduction & adjustment; and (4) explanation .
