摘要
It is for so many years that silence of English class in China has existed drawing attentions from scholars in and abroad.The paper,with the methodology of Ethnography of communication-observation,interview,survey and comprehensive analysis,concluded that silence of English class in China is not an coincident event,but a certain event in the process of education mainly owing to the course requirements and educational atmosphere like size of English class.
