摘要
由于颗粒物质的特殊性质,对其运动的模拟在图形学中是一个难题。本文通过建立一个刚体动力学物理引擎来实现对颗粒物质的模拟。利用若干球形粒子构成复合粒子,解决摩擦力等问题。本文通过使用粒子在刚体表面进行采样来实现对刚体进行建模,从而实现颗粒物质和刚体的交互。
Because of the unique physical properties, simulation of granular materials is a challenging problem in graphics. In this paper, a dynamics engine is built to implement the simulation of granular material. Issues like static and dynamic friction are solved by adopting a composite granular model consist of several sphere particles. We couple the rigid and granular by modeling the rigid with sphere particles to sample the mesh surface of rigid.
