奥斯卡·王尔德在戏剧《莎乐美》中倾注了其非凡的才能,《莎乐美》是在圣经故事莎乐美传奇基础之上得以创作而成。王尔德认为《莎乐美》属于悲剧的范畴,然而不难《莎乐美》在不少层面上具有喜剧元素,运用诺思罗普·弗莱的《批评的解剖》中关于春夏秋冬叙事结构的理论,这些戏剧元素得以清晰地呈现以丰富该作品的内涵。

In Salome, the author Oscar Wilde spends much of his talents to create the legend of Salome,which based on the Biblical story. In the writer's own words, it is a tragedy in one-act play that Salome belongs to. However, Salome is a comedy in some aspects, according to the theory of narrative structure of spring, summer, autumn and winter in Anatomy of Criticism written by Northrop Frye. Through analysis, the abundant comedy elements can be presented so as to enrich people's understanding about Wilde's tragedy Salome.
